La secuencia de la información en una citación difiere en el estilo de guía. APA, se utiliza en los cursos de Ciencias, y coloca la fecha de publicación como el segundo elemento. Lo hace para enfatizar la importancia de la fecha. En los cursos de Humanidades, la fecha no suele ser tan importante y por lo tanto la fecha se coloca al último si uno está usando el estilo MLA y SBL.
sugerencia APA: si se utiliza una cita, entonces usted debe citar el número de página dentro de la citación. Así que una nota no sería sólo el apellido del autor y el año, pero incluiría un número de página (o capítulo, si apropiado).
(Talbert, 1992, p. 47) O (Talbert, 1992, Capítulo 6) - notar que es "p." para página and "Capítulo" para capítulo.
