An Outside Library Patron must fall into one of the following categories: An Alumni (an Alumnus refers to anyone who graduated from the Institution), a Foursquare pastor, a SCELC Reciprocal Borrower, an ATLA Reciprocal Borrower, an ACL Reciprocal Borrower, or an APU Collaborative Agreement Borrower that live in the vicinity of the San Dimas campus. If an individual does not fit into one of these categories they will not be able to check items out of the Library nor will they be able to use the Library computers.
For every category, proof must be given that they fit into that category. Foursquare Pastors must show their Foursquare license. SCELC Reciprocal Borrowers must present a signed Authorization for Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Privileges. ATLA/ACL Reciprocal Borrowers must have home institution library email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to arriving at LPU with the following information: Student name, Student ID #, and confirmation that the student is currently enrolled in one of the institution's master programs. APU Collaborative Agreement Borrowers must present a signed yellow APU/LPU Collaborative Agreement card.
All Outside Library Patrons will only have access to checking out physical material or looking at physical material in the Library. They WILL NOT have access to Library Subscription Products (there will be no exceptions to this rule).
This form is filled out by all outside borrowers wishing to borrow from LPU. The library will automatically receive the application once it is submitted.
