Church History--16th century / 17th century / 18th century / 19th century / 20th century / 21st century

Some of the other subjects, such as "sermons", are linked on the "Pre-Reformation" tab.

By adding "sources" (as a subject) or "critical" / "study" (as a keyword) to the catalog search, you should be given texts that are considered "primary sources". This is not 100% accurate, but should get you in the high 90's for accuracy of finding primary sources. A primary source is usually considered the text or a translation of a text without commentary. The commentary itself is a secondary source. The Bible your read is a primary text. The notes on the bottom of the page, or a commentary, are secondary sources. Your instructor may be even more nuanced about the distinction between primary and secondary, e.g. primary is only original language.

You may want to add a century or a keyword to narrow the results to what you are looking for.
