All patrons who are not current students/staff (e.g., alumni, Foursquare pastors, Institutional members, etc.) must complete an Outside Patron Application.
Alumni, Foursquare pastors and Institutional members do not pay an application fee (an alumnus is defined as someone who has completed at least one semester at Life Pacific College; an Institutional member is defined by the Librarian).
When an application has been completed and the annual fee has been paid (if required), new patrons are given an ID Card. New patrons may then check out materials according to the privileges listed on the application form. All patrons must present their ID card each time they wish to check materials out.
An Institutional Member is defined as any faculty or student from an institution with which LPU has a Collaborative or Reciprocal Borrowing agreement. The LPU Alumni Library currently has agreements with Azusa Pacific University, participating libraries in the ATLA Reciprocal Borrowing Program, and SCELC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing (RFB) program. Institutional Members are not required to purchase a LPU ID card ($15) in order to borrow materials, but may if so desired. Institutional Member accounts must be renewed yearly to ensure the patron is a current faculty member or student within a participating institution.
This form is filled out by all outside borrowers wishing to borrow from LPC. The library will automatically receive the application once it is submitted.
