Gary Merriman: Head Librarian
Gary Merriman is the Head Librarian at Life Pacific College, located in San Dimas, California. He earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Languages from Life Pacific College, a M.A. in Biblical Studies from Talbot School of Theology, and a M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University. Gary served four years with Youth With a Mission, helping to lead Discipleship Training Schools, and has served in various pastoral roles since his graduation from LPC. His interest lay in the information seeking behavior of college students, and information literacy instruction. He is passionate about supporting students and faculty in their academic endeavors and seeks to promote the library as the center of the academic community.
Steve Jung: Instruction and Reference Librarian
Steve Jung is the Instruction and Reference Librarian here at LPC. He has his Bachelor degree in Biblical Literature from Azusa Pacific University. He has a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Master of Library Science from the University of Kentucky. He has taught Bible since 2003 at APU and has worked in academic libraries since 2010. He is married and has three children. He enjoys reading, movies, and camping in God’s great creation.
Michaela Allen: Assistant to the Librarian
Michaela graduated from Life Pacific College in 2011 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies. She started working as the Assistant to the Librarian in 2012. She has finished her Masters in Justice Studies for Southern New Hampshire University. Michaela loves visiting new places and spending time with family and friends. Adventure is in her blood.
