Definition - Primary Sources

Primary Sources are materials that are related to the Biblical text, but are not the Bible. Within this category are:  Hebrew and other Semitic texts related to the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, Greek and Latin texts that relate to the New Testament and the early church, and other Jewish and Christian writings not in the Bible (Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical, Old Testament Pseudepigrapha, New Testament Pseudepigrapha, and other additional materials).
